I am a dedicated, passionate, and actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 18 years of professional and 7 years of accounting-specific experience, primarily specializing in the cannabis industry. For the past several years I have worked as the Controller/Director of Finance for vertically-integrated Michigan cannabis operators such as Heritage Farms and LightSky Farms. I also bring public accounting experience in small business services (including advisory and accounting), tax, and audit across several industries including cannabis.

In the cannabis industry, I have both built accounting and finance from the ground up, in addition to fixing and overhauling existing departments. Some significant completed projects include: accounting system setup and transition, forecasting (annual, rolling 12-month, weekly cash forecasting, etc.), scenario modeling, in-depth cost analysis, breakeven assessment, inventory and production reporting, general ledger alignment, and consolidated accounting structure and reporting. I specialize in in-depth analysis, creative solutions, and ultimately connecting operational structure to strategy and vision.
